I began volunteering in 2018. I was walking my dog and bumped into a couple with a beautiful, black lab cross. The couple said they were walking their daughter's assistance dog and I was so moved by their story, I decided to volunteer.

I've had two dogs graduate to be with their forever human. Nana, autism assist and Cinco, hearing assist. I've become a breeder host and have Sasha in my care (see pictures). She has had two litters so far.....15 puppies! She's a fabulous mama!!!!

I am so proud to volunteer for this organization and the services they provide. People tell me they could never volunteer because they get too attached. When they go off to final training and you see what they do for the client, and attend a graduation ceremony, it's all worth it. Plus, when they go off to final training, you just get another one!
