I was able to travel with Youthlinc for the first time this year to Thailand. There are so many things I loved about this trip but the relationships built between team members and the in country support team is my favorite. We worked with a community of people living in a village by teaching English, doing some construction around the school, we learned about weaving which was completely new to me. I loved having the opportunity to plant rice and learn about the families living in the community by visiting them in their homes. Being in the village and spending time serving and supporting the community was rewarding in ways that I did not anticipate. The work put into preparing to travel and planning for our work in country helped our team to feel prepared and created positive relationships between the members of the team. I would recommend a trip with Youthlinc to anyone! I can't wait to travel with them again.
