We are so thankful for the Equestrian Aid Foundation. Our family had the unthinkable happen when my husband fell from a hunting tree stand 22 feet in the air. His fall left him with a C7 spinal cord injury and turned our world upside down. I was 5 months pregnant with twins at the time of his accident. After a 6 month stay in the hospital, he came home with multiple needs we didn’t know how to meet.
My husband was a farrier by trade and our main provider in the home. We heard about this foundation through a friend so I immediately reached out for any help we could get to meet our needs.
We could not be blessed more by this foundation. Because of their generosity, we were able to meet some of our needs at the moment and give us a little piece of mind that our new “normal” was achievable. We could not be more thankful.
