Review for Pet Project for Pets, Inc., Wilton Manors, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Pet Project has been working in my community for years and I learned of them thru a neighbor was connected to their services several years back when he was in financial distress and in hospice at home status and receiving food for his cat since he couldn’t afford it. The compassion & empathy to reach out help folks in medical crisis in my neighborhood with great financial plight so they could continue living with their beloved pet was amazing. Plus they were ensuring these individuals were treated with dignity and respect.
Years passed and thru their outreach my spouse and I assisted with finding placement for a crippled cat whose elderly caregiver had passed and the cat had already had several placement disruptions. due to an elderly person referred to them being unable to continue care. The PetProject collaborations and partnering within the community was alway evident. They do want a forever home for pets and provided more than food. Rather they were linking resources, and other organizations to their clients to offer them a full spectrum of services.
My spouse has owned a business for years and based on the Peg Project’s clear accountability, transparency in their operations and the use of their resources he has also ensured our business would help out with their fundraising efforts. and stakeholders can trust the organization’s integrity.
Adaptability in responding to evolving health needs and the challenges faced by the people they serve is their signature priority as they do home delivery of the food for their animals.
I personally love their inclusivity to ensure their free services are accessible to all, regardless of background, culture, or circumstance, when they meet the criteria related to health, economic need etc. I know their holistic approach has helped thousands in this south Florida not just animal food, but often linking their clients to appropriate and caring partners to help with reduced veterinary services and other service needs.
These qualities I speak of have caused the Pet Project for Pets to truly build relationships & trust that is noteworthy. They have fostered community support that makes them a hometown hero organization and that has decades of shown outstanding service successes and a great long-term impact to thousands of vulnerable people with pets.
