In life, we often fall into the trap of starting with why we can’t do something rather than why we can. As a person with a disability, this can unfortunately happen even more often than your average able body. Able Flight flips that mindset on its head and shows you not just how you can achieve, but how you can thrive at any challenge you put your mind to. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the support of Able Flight, and while it helped me take to the skies, something I thought impossible a few short months ago, it also has helped me reimagine many of the obstacles and challenges standing in the way of my life. I now carry a more empowered and ambitious mindset that I will use to conquer a full life’s worth of achievement. I’m incredibly grateful to the Able Flight team, the participants, the donors, and all of the incredible folks that make this fantastic organization run.
