My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Grist Magazine, Inc., Seattle, WA, USA
As a longtime reader of Grist, I feel that my donations to them are really just money that I owe them for all of their amazing journalism and advocacy, and for the energy that they inject into the green movement. I have made donations in response to their appeals, but also in response to reading an awesome article. Sometimes I make a gift to get whatever cool giveaway they have, but most of the time it is simply because I am thankful for all that they do and I want to ensure that they stay around.

Review for Grist Magazine, Inc., Seattle, WA, USA
Grist is my go-to website for breaking and in-depth reporting on all matters environmental. They are especially useful in providing a deeper and more contextual look that is not partisan or knee-jerk, but thoughtful and smart (with a very healthy dose of hilarious). Grist is my one-stop shop for all news environmental--and even environmental takes on seemingly "unrelated" news. And Ask Umbra is my mentor, whether she knows it or not :)
