I volunteered at Shanti Bhavan 2 in July 2024. The experience at SB2 was incredible. I spend my time with the pre-schoolers and KG. It was the most beautiful time of my life, I was lucky to attend the inauguration function of SB2. I met Dr George during my stay, I feel so honoured to meet the man who started Shanti Bhavan , Dr George has changed lives of so many children. I feel grateful to be a small part of this project so lucky,
The daily schedule is meticulously planned and followed. The food is cooked on site, it is fresh and delicious. The accommodation provided was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is beautiful surrounded by beautiful lush green hills, I woke up everyday to the beautiful views.
I plan to go back again, there is no way you can visit Shanti Bhavan just once. The volunteering experience at SB left me with this feeling of overwhelming joy, positivity and fulfilment.
