The Loveland Learning Garden has been a wonderful experience for my students in first grade. The lessons are aligned with our first grade curriculum and they offer a hands-on approach for learning. The lessons are fun, engaging and age appropriate. My students have learned about composting, insects, butterflies, life cycles, gardening, and so much more! They are able to harvest fruits and vegetables and actually taste some of the items grown in our garden. The best part is sharing the harvest with the Loveland Food Bank! We are so lucky to have this truly unique learning environment here at LPS!
