My wife and I have been supporters of Ceres almost from its beginning. We've seen first-hand the joy it brings to its clients who receive their lovingly prepared, health-giving meals. I know of no other community-based organization with such multi-faceted impacts. Ceres teaches its student volunteers life skills in its kitchens and gardens and the rewards of contributing to community members in need. Its clients receive not just healthy meals tailored to their medical needs, but also regular human contact with the delivery volunteers and the security of knowing there's one vital aspect of their daily lives that's under control. Beyond its community impacts, Ceres has been a leader in spreading the vital message of healthy eating and expanding government financial support for food as medicine across the country. We take great pride in supporting such an important organization.
