Pet Project doesn't just help pets. They help people, too, because they know pets are family! Low-income families get monthly cat/dog food so they are able to keep their babies. Pet Project delivers pet food to elderly and disabled pet owners who have mobility issues. Our local animal rescues are able to purchase large quantities of food and litter for a low cost in order to help them continue to save animals. As a volunteer for a South Florida cat rescue, I know firsthand the amazing things that Sue and the Crew do every day, including helping sick and stray animals. And Robert is awesome!
They have a fantastic thrift store that features vintage and new items, including pet stuff. Last time I was there, they had a gramophone (very old record player before my time but very cool) and even pet pee pads! Also lots of great clothes. I really love and appreciate this wonderful organization!
