My children attended the Nickolay Dodov foundation beacon search and avalanche safety class. The class was engaging and fun for them, with wonderful instructors and fun games and prizes. They learned a lot like how to look for avalanche conditions and recognize when there might be an avalanche. Months later they still remember to always have the right gear, know how to use it properly, and check that it works before going in the back country. The class really stuck with them!
