Review for Gig Harbor Peninsula Historical Society, Gig Harbor, WA, USA
Our Gig Harbor Peninsula Historical Society Museum is so much fun to visit and bring visitors to! Not only is it a beautiful structure with well-designed galleries, but the in-progress boat restoration and traveling exhibits will keep us returning time after time! The beautifully re-constructed school house takes us back in time to the old Gig Harbor days by it's atmosphere, video testimonies of past students, and items carefully arranged inside. We have attended wonderful talks given by local fishermen and townsfolk, and look forward to attending many more of these special events. We also love the gift shop full of local crafts and momentos from the area and the traveling exhibits! We are so proud of this place and thrilled to have a unique destination to bring our visiting friends and family.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
NOT make any changes!!! This museum will only continue to get better and better as the boat restoration continues and the public attendance increases this spring and summer!
