K9s for Cops Polk County is a charitable partnership between The Estates at Carpenters and the Polk County Sheriff's K9 Unit. Our mission is to purchase dogs for the K9 Unit. This year we had a LOT of new handlers join the Unit and we found that there were gaps in some of the training items that the handlers needed. We reached out to Irondog K9 to see if we could get some help. They were so quick to reach back out to us to see what they could do! It has been so exciting to partner with an organization that started organically like we did and has such a heart for K9 law enforcement! We look forward to working with them now and in the future!
