Magical Creatures Sanctuary is dedicated to helping farmed animals on the Big Island and reducing animal suffering. They have about 90 rescued residents -- goats, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats and cows. I have enjoyed volunteering with the organization and seeing the positive impact they have not only on the residents, but also in the community through their events and outreach.
