I am deeply impressed by the amazing work of Shadow Cats. They are a true champion for community cats. While I was involved in trapping, neutering, and releasing a large group of cats in low-income housing, I found a severely emaciated and unwell little cat. I took her in for spaying and she tested negative for FeLV. She turned out to be very sweet, so I was able to examine her mouth and noticed that it was in bad shape. I took her to a full-service veterinarian and found out that she needed to have all her teeth removed due to a condition called Stomatitis. Shadow Cats helped me cover her medical expenses through the One Life Fund. This little cat is now on the road to recovery and will soon have a loving forever home, free from pain. Shadow Cats has supported me in numerous ways over the years, both financially and with valuable advice. They are truly the best nonprofit organization and have been essential to my rescue efforts for community cats. I couldn't have continued this journey without them. They are some of the best people on this planet.
