Well Aware is an exceptionally transparent and effective organization dedicated to bringing clean water systems to communities in East Africa. The work Well Aware is doing is truly life-changing. I had the privilege of working with Well Aware on a class project studying nonprofits. The staff at Well Aware were not only responsive and helpful in providing documents and information, but their founder, Sarah Evans, went above and beyond to personally answer our questions. One of the most valuable aspects of Well Aware is that much of their team is from Kenya, which ensures they have a deep understanding of the communities they serve. Well Aware is great at listening to and collaborating with community members to create sustainable, long-term water solutions.
