Last November I was diagnosed with an uncommon aggressive uterine cancer. I'm 72, and had a hysterectomy 3 weeks after the diagnosis. The day after I returned from the hospital, I started receiving 7 meals a week 8 weeks. The priceless gift of lovingly prepared, delicious, healthy, organic, gluten free meals, delivered with care to my door, along with menus, recipes, notes and loving touches like hearts, cards and gifts, often made by children, was SUCH AN IMPORTANT PART of my HEALING!!!! Sometimes the gratitude I felt while eating a Ceres meal brought tears to my eyes, as I took in the gift of nourishment imbued with love, and I am thriving today, with much heartfelt thanks to Ceres!
