I found out about Mercy for Animals a few years ago when I stumbled across their undercover investigations of cruel factory farming practices on Instagram. Learning about their work to create a more compassionate food system even motivated me to go from being vegetarian to vegan two year ago. Since then I’ve gotten more involved by donating to their different programs like the People’s Fund that helps entrepreneurs in the plant-based industry, or attending Compassion Collective calls to learn more about Animal Advocacy, their investigation programs, and more. I love how hands on this organization is, and how much good they’re doing for animals!
