I’ve been having issues finding a prosthetics that could make me a proper fitting socket. I live a fairly high active lifestyle and I’m pretty hard on my limbs. So I live in Texas and convinced the VA to let my prosthetics guy from Walter Reed build my prosthetic but now the hassle was getting from north Texas to MD. Flying commercial has so many struggles from getting through TSA to losing your bag full of all your legs and leg parts. This is where VAC literally took me under their wing and got me there and back without any hassle. The pilots from the flight up to the flight back were super transparent and communicated with me to insure I had acquit time to get fitted for my legs and accommodation all my ADA needs!
