When I retired, I wanted to volunteer with an organization that helped people, specifically elderly and disabled people. I found that Help At Your Door fit the bill and after almost 12 years of volunteering with them, I find that I've made many friends along the way while doing what I truly enjoy doing -- shopping! Knowing that we provide a much-needed service is the icing on the cake.
