For me, volunteering with FTC has been an incredibly uplifting, expansive and nurturing experience. The preconceived, general stereotype beliefs I had held about prison inmates have been turned upside down. We all makes mistakes; some obviously far more serious than others. And, I believe, almost everyone; especially people who have undertaken and committed to person growth and learning from our mistakes, should at least be considered for a second chance.
Thank you to each of the FTC staff and volunteers who have invested twenty years offering assistance, hope and different choices to incarcerated individuals.
