Heidi and the entire C.A.R.E. crew do a phenomenal job at rescue! They take in homeless, abandoned, and injured big cats, small wild cats, lemur and truly change their lives. They research new and innovative wasts to care for these animals with pain issues, emotional issues, or even blindness. They source food for the cats ethically. These big cats are amazing animals who live long beyond their "in the wild" years. Walking between the huge enclosures with Heidi, Derek, or any of the interns proves the bond between them and the cats is deep. The cats will come running from the other side of the enclosure to rub their huge heads against fencing. They make their little noises of pleasure and familiarity. C.A.R.E. is home for all of the animals and they are well loved and cared for.
