Just when rescue gets tough, in comes “A Fleet of Angels” to help, awarding
CARE a much needed hay grant for our sanctuary horses.

CARE relocated the sanctuary from Bodfish, CA. to Bakersfield, CA. in response to the wildfire threat which seemed to increase every year. The sanctuary was located in a high risk fire area. CARE made the costly decision to move and can now continue to safely help equine and companion animals at risk.
