I joined MENA Community Center as a volunteer intern in January 2024. Throughout my internship, I actively engaged in comprehensive training, gaining expertise in the various responsibilities of a case manager. This experience provided me with the foundation that led me to be hired as a case manager at the organization, showcasing my capabilities and readiness for the position.

My experience so far has been great. The work environment is supportive and respectful. My colleagues have been very helpful as I transitioned from being a volunteer intern to a case manager. I appreciate the Director for her guidance and patience in helping me with my work. It's very rewarding to assist underserved minorities in the community who require support. As the daughter of immigrants, I feel compelled to help these underserved minorities navigate complex systems, especially those with limited English proficiency who need assistance with understanding documentation and forms.

Overall, MENA Community Center has allowed me to actively practice my beliefs of helping others through kindness and compassion. It has strengthened my commitment to supporting and assisting others to the best of my ability. This organization is dedicated to upholding respect and providing exceptional service to all individuals with a community-oriented approach. MENA Community Center also aims to provide recognition and opportunities for minorities, empowering them to grow in various ways.
