I have volunteered at the Animal Park for over 12 years now. The animals not only make it a magical place but also the people here who are dedicated to the well-being of the residents. We pull together as a family to do whatever is necessary. At one time, we were short of animal keepers to prepare animal diets. Volunteers who could re-arrange work schedules or already had flexible work schedules came to the Park several times a week to help. Some drove over an hour here and then another hour back to their homes. Dedication, education, and conservation are what we are all about!
