As a person committed to making the most of life on a low income, I love that I can support people in the so called second and third worlds who are committed to growing food, creating community, and getting out of Modern Culture consumer practices. Kiva creates possibilities for me to find these people and get some money to them, and empowers them to be accountable to repaying the loan.
