My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Childhood Cancer Community, Rochester, MN, USA
My son was diagnosed with stage IV medulloblastoma brain cancer in November 2015 and underwent brain surgery, 30 rounds of proton beam radiation, and a year of chemo. CCC has helped us so much with the roller coaster of emotions that parents/families go through while their child battles cancer. Every member has a child with a cancer story, and they know exactly what you're going through, so they can relate to the feeling involved. CCC has monthly events with dinners for the families, crafts and activities for the kids, and support group sessions for the parents. We have enjoyed the support so much that we now volunteer for CCC whenever we can. Kind of a "Pay it Forward" type of thing. Not only have we been helped by CCC, but we have also become good friends with many of the families and members. CCC is a blessing for us and for all families who have come to be a part of it. On a scale of 1 to 10, this organization is an 11!!!
Thank you Curt for this most gracious review! Thanks also for your never ending willingness to volunteer to help us out. It is much appreciated.
