I am with the St. Theresa church group from Sugar Land. We are having our confirmation retreat this weekend and so far our service project we have came to the Turning Point Center which is a great place to be.

I have learned that being homeless is not a rare thing. The Turning Point Center have "rescued" more than 10,000 people. Being homeless is becoming a bigger issue because of the economy but the Turning Point Center is helping out with the majority of this problem. I already love volunteering, but being here in this great center just made me feel so much more confortable. The people here were so grateful and sweet. They each have their own way to contribute to their own little community.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
change nothing. They are all great people that reside here. I am grateful I got to have this experience.
