Review for Childhood Cancer Community, Rochester, MN, USA
My son was diagnosed with stage IV medulloblastoma brain cancer in late 2015 and underwent an extensive 6-hour brain surgery. We learned about the Childhood Cancer Community (CCC) Support Group from a mother whose son also had brain cancer. We became members of CCC in early 2016. The tremendous support, acceptance, knowledge, and especially the unconditional love that children and parents receive from this Group is extraordinary! Members are given a safe place to come and have dinner with families like themselves and share in their struggles and fears with parents who truly understand what it's like to have a child with cancer. CCC is outstanding in providing monthly dinners and uplifting, fun events throughout the year (without any cost to its members), for cancer kids and their parents to join in and forget about cancer for a while. We are very grateful and blessed to be a part of this incredible Group.
It has been an absolute honor and privilege getting to know your family. Thank you for providing this glowing review. It means so much to us!
