Review for Turning Point Center, Houston, TX, USA
I heard of Turning Point through my sponsor. He helped me move and get accepted into the program. Besides providing the basic necessities as well as a sense of security and fraternity. Turning Point has enabled me to do much more than what I could do alone. Their A.A. and therapeutic programs has given me the means of continuing my rehab and helped with my coping skills. Turning Points services have helped with my medical and psychiatric problems. Their computer lab has made it possible to apply for enrollment, help with employment assistance, and a means to research social security disability. The job that I'm assigned helps me to transition back into a work environment.

The residents here make it possible to socialize and be a friend with people that I like. This is growth where once I wasn an angry, distrustful, isolated, and even violent alcoholic and substance abuser.
