I participated in the No Limits summer theater program for many years while I was younger, and I volunteered for No Limits as I got older. My hearing loss made me shy and reluctant to participate in social situations. Performing on stage, pushing through fears of public speaking, and being around other kids like me changed my life. The feeling of accomplishment fueled my self confidence and taught me to be proud of who I am. No Limits' "I can do it" philosophy helped me feel like I was capable of doing anything I set my mind to. I am more than grateful for the impact No Limits has had on me, and I know No Limits will continue empowering kids who are hard of hearing for years to come.
