I heard about Viva through a friend and drove up from San Diego to attend their Pride Event. What a terrific space. There is no way my words will do this organization justice however i wish to shed a light on the amazing place that is Viva Rescue.
Absolutely beautiful facility filled with lovely people and non human animals alike. You can tell the animals feel comfortable and confident despite their past experiences with humans. This shows the love Viva pours into each of them.
I met so many amazing people including the owners. They are fantastic, friendly people, who went above and beyond in ensuring everyone’s comfortability during this event.
During my time at Viva i got to meet and feed some of the animals, make crafts, enjoy a vegan meal, engage with the community and have great conversations around friendly and safe people.
