I volunteered with ATOU from middle to high school as part of their youth FORCE team. Youth FORCE is a group of individuals who come together to assess and meet the needs of the community by putting on events for anyone to participate in regardless of their abilities. With these fun events to plan for, the group was encouraged to take leadership roles and increased responsibility while planning of these events. My brother and I were welcomed to this community with open arms, made friends, had fun and were encouraged to grow. I have met some spectacular people through ATOU and would recommend its programs, youth FORCE team, and community events to anyone looking to have a good time! As a current student, my only regret is that I don't live in the area to continue my involvement!!
