Assistance League of Kansas City worked tirelessly to get a little girl whose family is unhoused what she needed to go to a bowling tournament. Every day she faces the challenges of homelessness; sleeping in a cramped hotel, uncertain of her future and nowhere consistent to call home. For once she had the chance to be like any other child her age and have a blast going to the bowling tournament. Bowling is an activity she loves and enjoys, and thanks to Assistance League of Kansas City, she has a lasting memory that can never be taken away (thanks to the organization's generosity of purchasing her bowling uniform and supplying gas money to get to the event).
