Review for Turning Point Center, Houston, TX, USA
I arrived at TPC on Dec. 7, 2010, and from the very start, I felt accepted by the staff and clients as well. It was a humbling experience because you usually are not accepted as freely or openly and the people here are all good and friendly. My journey began not so well as I had an experience I thought had somewhat control of, but when it became known about my experience, I wasn't treated any different as I was when I came in. I have experienced nothing but generosity, friendship, and acceptance. I still have alot of respect for TPC, not only did it accept my flaws and all, but it also has taught me that we're not perfect but we strive for progress. Turning Point has allowed that and although I'm still a work in progress, I know I'm not quite there yet, but I strive on. What I like about TPC is it allows you to grow and do at your own pace.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
that TPC doesn't force feed you anything since there are rules one must obey, but TPC has meant a great deal to my life. One can excel at their pace, nothing is rushed at you and you can become the person you aspire to be and want to be. Again, if it wasn't for TPC my life would be at a standstill, living without a roof over my head, no bed to sleep in, and no food. Most of all the people I've met here are great.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
change nothing really because things are great the way they are.
