The many different programs offered by the Assistance League of Kansas City are a wonderful testament to an organization, and more specifically a membership, that loves and supports their community. From a simple stuffed toy for a traumatized child to a new set of clothing for someone who just experienced sexual assault, ALKC is there to help. Just as school begins, ALKC will provide new clothing for thousands (yes, thousands) of children who would have to go to school in tattered or ill-fitting clothing. This bright start on a new school year can make a tremendous difference a child's attitude and how they're treated by their peers. ALKC operates nine different programs and every single one is intended to improve lives and build a better community one good deed at a time. Anyone wanting to support a great cause and give back to their community can't go wrong with the Assistance League of Kansas City.
