I have been a part of Kiva community for about 3 years. My personal funds are limited, but by investing in small loans I can see the benefit in others lives. Not only does it help the borrower, but it allows me to see that even small amounts do make a big difference to individuals and the community. The program helps individual to become more economically independent which is always a desirable goal and essential to meeting basic needs and developing principles of democracy and human rights.
