I have had the privilege to witness the power of Roots & Wings in person. To be in the classroom when the teachers receive the recognition is really something to see. The teachers are always surprised, sometimes in tears, sometime in awe, or both. The students are so proud of their teachers when they receive the awards. Unfortunately our teachers don't get recognized enough for what they do so this is a very special moment when Roots & Wings recognizes the teachers. It's a moment that nobody forgets!
