Review for Operation Literacy, Spanish Fork, UT, USA
The Operation Literacy staff are caring and dedicated people!
They run several programs that inspire thousands of kids every year to pick up books and write their own stories.
From hosting their annual Teen Author Boot Camp where NYT best-selling authors workshop with Tweens and Teens to help them improve their writing, to donating free books and author visits to low-income schools, and hosting free writing contests that give teens professional publishing opportunities. Operation Literacy's goal is to inspire children and young adults of all ages to develop a love of reading and writing.
Can't say enough good things about this organization.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Compensate the owners so they could spend more time growing the non-profit. All the founders have worked pro-bono the whole life of the organization, and with compensation they could put in more time so they wouldn't have to work multiple jobs (because Operation Literacy is a full time job as it is!)
