To all the veterans out there needing support,
I dealt with daily pain, discomfort, and anxiety for many years due to ongoing issues with my teeth. The embarrassment of my situation, finding the right dentist, and affording the care needed was overwhelming and deterred me from seeking help. I was eventually made aware of the Everyone for Veterans program and quickly connected with their staff. They were highly responsive and compassionate to my situation. EV4 staff assisted me with the application and interview process to ensure that I quickly got added to the service list. I was later connected with APEX Dental and Dr. Mindy. Dr. Mindy was professional, honest, informative, and empathetic to those like me that suffer from anxiety involving dental care. Her bedside manner, sense of humor, and positivity created a comfortable environment for my uncomfortable situation. Regarding the care I received, Dr. Mindy was nothing short of supernatural in her ability to develop and execute my care plan while always ensuring I fully understood the steps, timeline, and outcome of each visit. She changed my life and I am truly grateful for her service and that of EV4. I highly recommend that any veteran in need of assistance connect with the Everyone for Veterans program.
