I began fostering with ARL last year. I've found them to be incredibly supportive of us volunteers, helping to give us the information we need to foster successfully and providing the support needed when we do have questions.

I see how much they prioritize the needs of the animals, which only makes fostering easier. They gather as much information as they can to share, they are thinking about what the animal needs and making sure to be explicit and descriptive about challenging aspects to potentially fostering a particular animal, to help that animal have the best experience they can.

We had a "needs to be put down" situation arise unexpectedly with a foster kitten, and I was surprised at how adept they were at communicating honestly with me, keeping me informed of the situation, and even sent a condolences card. That level of awareness of the experience of a fosterer really cemented my trust in them as an organization.
