Review for Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation, Arlington, VA, USA
So, among all the good you do, I have seen the holier than thou aspect your company has shown. Amongst the misinformation and the funding of surgical needs based on sympathy garnered from the lies of said mis information. You have also allowed not only a loving owner but a puppy whom loved there owner to remain separated solely due to your concededness. Instead of looking at the facts and listening. Your policy is clearly made with good intentions, but you surely know what is said of those. Instead possibly take each situation as different instead of acting as if anyone who is not your organization or similar is lesser than the animals you rescue. Imagine if the rescue worker, whomever it may be (fire, police, park ranger, etc) told you the same thing, "your loved one will never be reunited with you, you abandoned them"? Need more perspective? Let's say the police tell you to not pay the ransom demands, they are the professionals after all, and you listen. Then you end up being told your child was taken and won't be seen again. Turns out protective services took the child to foster care cause you didn't pay the ransom. Sounds quite horrific and way more chilling. But to some, there puppy is exactly that. And this messed up game you have played with the puppy named Amos. It is quite wrong. I hope you at least let the people who sent money on gofund me know that the puppy was not actually abandoned and that medical advice was originally given that the was little to no hope hence why the owner made the decision put the puppy down. Since you had it come to light that it was not the case it wouldve been right to make the exception to allow the owner to have her loved and obviously cared for puppy back. Have a, day
