Whilst I was at the Borgen Project, I undertook the Writer/Journalist Internship. Overall, I enjoyed completing this internship. It was always good to read and learn about all the positive developments that are being done to reduce global poverty. I should note that people from all over the world can and do read your articles. I wrote one article about the work that was being done to improve the lives of amputee people in Bolivia. Someone read this article and was so motivated by the work that they wanted to donate some prosthetic limbs to a Bolivian organisation. Further to this, I gained experience in writing articles for a lay audience. There is also a lot of flexibility, so you can determine your own schedule.

I enjoyed advocating for the poorest people in the world.
