I have been a volunteer at Island Dolphin Care for a couple of years. There is no other volunteer job as rewarding as this. Island Dolphin Care provides a special interaction and dolphin therapy for special needs individuals. I take pictures of participants getting so much joy swimming, hugging, kissing and playing with the dolphins.
We also give tours to the general public to show our dolphin therapy facility. Recently two gentlemen from Germany commented that the tour and dock interaction was the best part of their trip to the US!
The dolphins eat a lot of fish and require a lot of care so we appreciate any donations. Come visit the facility if you are ever in the Key Largo area. You will love it!!
