I do not wear the trademarks of businesses or charities I do not support. I also hang about with like-minded folks. In the sport of competitive steel target shooting, I have the good fortune to be surrounded by many families and colleagues who support the police and military. Irondog K9 International has been able to tell people about the importance of supporting police enforcement K9s by means of talks and material distribution at events in numerous states. Over and over, I have received the same response: nobody knew that most K9 units are run on donations. They are astounded and appreciative of the assistance IDK9 provides for K9 units lacking funds for equipment, education, and emergency veterinarian bills, especially since it is protecting the K9 lives that aids in officers and community protection. I happily carry the Irondog K9 International emblem, and everyone they have come into touch with at our events is glad to share their mission.

Irondog K9 International has been a great supporter of our Steel Challenge shooting competitions. We have many law enforcement officers, retired veterans, and first responders in this sport, so a non-profit like IDK9 is important to them as much as it is to my Miller Time Shooting and Team Match Tracker athletes. IDK9 has visited our matches on several occasions and talked to the shooters and vendors about the importance of what they do to ensure K9 units that rely on donations can get the equipment, training, and veterinary bills paid that they need. I proudly wear my IDK9 hat to every match and my IDK9 shirt to all our local monthly matches, and I am happy to hand out information to anyone who asks me about this great organization so we can raise awareness and funds for them to keep supporting our law enforcement K9s!
