I began teaching in 2005 after I retired from the Air Force and immediately fell in love with A Gift for Teaching. The availability of classroom supplies like pencils, paper, rulers, markers, colored pencils, scissors, and glue helped me keep from paying for these items myself. I knew teaching at a Title 1 school would mean more money coming out of my pocket, but the availability of supplies from "A Gift" as we call it in our school has eased the burden. The additional contributions A Gift receives from local theme parks and other contributors also allows me to stock my "treasure chest" with goodies the kids love to earn. Highly recommended.
