AWF is a shelter that truly "walks the walk“ when it comes to saving animals and finding them their forever homes! I can't say enough good about the staff and their true passion and dedication to not just the animals there, but to all the animals they save from other shelters that are so over-populated that the animals wouldn't have gotten a second chance to find a home without the efforts of Makenna at AWF! ❤️ She doesn't just look for adopters for the animals; instead, she looks for a true connection between the animal and the adoptee, which gives both of them a better chance at having the best outcome with a happy ending!! ❤️
Upon visiting numerous times, the shelter has always been very clean and well maintained. The staff is always very welcoming, as are the pups who are 'tail wagging' and excited to see anyone who comes in to visit. ❤️ For the cat lovers ... You could spend hours deciding on which lap cat is the best fit for you. They were so friendly and affectionate, purring the whole time they were sitting in my lap! ❤️ If you are thinking of adopting a pet, you will not be disappointed in anyway choosing Animal Welfare Friends!
