Partnership With Native Americans (PWNA) is an outstanding organization. The Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate has had their support for many years, however; I have had the privilege of working with Laura and the PWNA team for the past year and it has been wonderful! Just this year, this organization has donated food and emergency supplies to the SWO Office of Emergency Management that we were able to disburse to all 7 of our districts that operate as emergency shelters in times of need, in addition to our warming house that serves the local homeless population. PWNA's gracious donation means that we are more equipped to respond to disasters. They have also assisted with trainings, and various other projects including food sovereignty efforts. We are lucky to know them and have them as a resource!
