The Mt Pleasant community has created an event called Spirit Day designed to bring the community together in the name of The TLC Foundation and Childhood Cancer. It is going into its 10th year and has raised over $340,000 that has gone to clinical trials and research. I am confident that every dollar spent goes to the mission and goals of this amazing organization. My children and family look forward to this event every year.
