I have struggled with an eating disorder and disordered eating for 30 years. I have been hospitalized twice and have seen numerous therapists and dieticians (most secular) throughout these past 3 decades. I don't think I have made as much progress with my recovery as I have since listening to the FindingBalance podcasts, reading the daily vitamin devotionals, and going through the curriculum this past year. FindingBalance continually points me in the direction of Christ and His love for me and others - it has taught me that it really is only His opinion of me that matters - and He is in love with me as I am, right now, and with what I will become as I continue to pursue Him. Slowly but surely, I am learning to recognize and let go of the detrimental lies of the enemy that I have blindly believed for years. Thank you, FindingBalance team members, for your life saving and life giving ministry. Your work for God's Kingdom matters tremendously!
